ROB ZOMBIE

Robert Bartleh Cummings o simplemente Rob Zombie (12 de enero de 1965) es un músico, letrista, guionista, productor y director de cine y productor musical estadounidense. Se dio a conocer a través de la desaparecida banda de Groove/Industrial Metal White Zombie, comenzando su carrera en solitario en 1998. Últimamente ha ganado mayor notoriedad internacional debido a sus películas que se han convertido en clásicos entre los fanáticos del género de terror. 

Rob Zombie no puede ser etiquetado con un estilo musical, una vez que ya tenía un sonido más cercano al punk rock, pasando a Noise Rock New York, adquiriendo más tarde, por influencia de Metallica un sonido thrash metal, luego Groove Metal e Industrial Metal. Hoy Rob combina todos los estilos que ya ha adoptado, desde el Hard Rock tradicional hasta el country.

Desde la época de White Zombie, sus canciones han hecho varias apariciones en películas, tanto canciones de álbumes como canciones inéditas. Además de tener 8 nominaciones a los Grammy. Participó en las bandas sonoras de los juegos de la serie de metal retorcido y Need for Speed: Underground.

A lo largo de su carrera musical, Rob ha grabado canciones con grandes iconos del rock, además de tener una amplia conexión con muchas bandas de extrema importancia en la escena musical mundial.

En septiembre de 2012, el DJ Sid Wilson fue confirmado en la nueva gira de Zombie con Marilyn Manson, "Twins of Evil". Sid reemplazará a J Devil, quizás más conocido como Jonathan Davis, vocalista de la banda Korn que participaría en la gira de zombies y masones, pero que por órdenes médicas, no podrá participar.
